Hey there, I’m Dale, the colorful mind behind HuetifulHomes.com, where I show you how to create a home that is as fun and fabulous as you are.

I’m not your typical home designer. I don’t have a fancy degree or a portfolio of celebrity clients. But I do have a passion for color and a knack for DIY. And I want to share it with you.

I got into home design by accident. I used to work for my family’s flooring business, but I hated it. It was boring and hard work. But I loved seeing how different floors could change the look and feel of a room. I started experimenting with different colors, patterns, and textures in my own homes. Yes, homes. I move a lot. And every time I move, I redecorate (LOTS) – and it doesn’t have to be as expensive as you think!

I also lived in some amazing places, like South Africa and China, and learned a lot from their cultures and styles. I love to mix and match different elements from around the world to create a unique and eclectic home.

I started HuetifulHomes.com because I wanted to share my home design adventures with the world. And because I couldn’t find a website that had what I was looking for. Most websites either focus on design or DIY, but not both. And most websites are boring and bland, just like most homes.
